The Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille is holding its first major exhibition devoted to Egypt, in an exceptional collaboration with the Louvre Museum. At the heart of the Middle Kingdom, the visionary Pharaoh Sesostris III (circa 1872 -1854 BC) marks a turning point in Egypts history.
